      巨噬细胞在身体不同组织中广泛存在,并对体内多种生理和病理过程具有关键性的调节作用。骨巨噬细胞(OsteoMacs)是分布在骨骼表面的组织驻留巨噬细胞,依靠自我更新持续存在并参与骨稳态和修复过程。骨重塑中,骨巨噬细胞作为免疫微环境的组分调控成骨细胞和破骨细胞分化。骨愈合中,骨巨噬细胞在膜内和软骨内愈合两种途径中均发挥积极作用;骨巨噬细胞是最先与生物材料接触的细胞,其介导的免疫反应对生物材料的效果有重要影响。总体而言,骨巨噬细胞是治疗骨骼相关疾病和加快骨骼修复的重要靶点,但具体干预手段仍需要进一步研究。
英文摘要:
      Macrophages are a pivotal cell type distributed in almost all tissues of the body that have prominent roles in human body. Osteal macrophages (OsteoMacs) are a discrete population of resident tissue macrophages in line with traditional bone cell nomenclature. OsteoMacs can self-renew in bone and participate in bone remodeling and regeneration. The role of OsteoMacs in bone remodeling is to regulate the differentiation of osteoclasts and osteoblasts. During bone regeneration, OsteoMacs are crucial for both intramembranous and endochondral fracture healing. Furthermore, OsteoMacs are one of the first cell type that interact with implanted biomaterials. Its immune-related capabilities play a prominent role in the effects of biomaterials. Therefore, targeting OsteoMacs has therapeutic potentials, and further research should be conducted in this field.
