| Osteonecrosis of the femoral head (ONFH) is popular in the young and middle-aged people. The development of ONFH will significantly negatively affect the quality of patients' life and working ability. In early stage, the most important treatment is the retention of femoral head which including prevention the femoral head collapse, hip function protection and delaying the artificial hip replacement. In this stage, choosing proper repair material is critical to the survival rate of the femoral head and the maintaining hip function. This paper reviewed the research progress of various repair material for the repairing and reconstruction of the femoral head. |
